YSE Enterprise Corp is looking for part-time Public Recreation program counselors and coordinators for YSE programs in various site locations in Culver City. Counselors will provide direction for the program participants, and implement program activities in and out of the classroom such as sports, arts and crafts, and team-building games.
Counselors will provide a quality experience to children and parents that focuses on the YSE core values: respect, integrity, confidence, and helping others.

Description
This program may require skills and/or experience in academic support, recreation, sports, arts, crafts, technology education, and social skills development.

• Assisting students with homework and tutoring them through uncertainties they have in the classroom.
​
• Model and promote positive behavior, attitude and language while developing positive conflict resolution skills among children, parents and staff.
​
• Knowledge of and experience with child development.
​
• Coordinate and conduct activities in and out of the classroom such as crafts and team-building games such as dodgeball and capture the flag.
​
• Conduct a health check of children at the time of arrival to the program.
​
• Monitor the children, classroom, and their activities.
​
• Maintain transparent communication with program director and parents.
​
• Perform other duties as assigned.
